Temporarily fix a pesky crack in an again washer fluid tank.


As your vehicle ages you’ll find that cracked washer fluid tanks are fairly common on cars of a certain age. A good remedy, until you can buy a new tank to replace your current one, is to take a large plastic freezer bag and insert it into the tank. Once you secure it, this will allow you to fill it with the washer fluid until you’re able to purchase a replacement. This quick fix won’t last forever, but it’s a great way to keep your windshield clean so you stay safe out there on the road for a short time.

Top tips to protect and renew your upholstery.


Spraying fabric car seats and carpets with a fabric protectant, such as Scotchgard, will make them resist dirt and stains, and make them easier to clean. Thoroughly clean the fabrics before using one of these products and then test the product on an inconspicuous place to be sure the treatment will not discolor the fabric.
